美國全球和平華人聯合會(簡稱美國華人會)於2/2 大年初五假紐約唐人街法王寺五樓，聚集為世界大會的顧問們一起同慶2025 新年，現場加上主要工作人員約略25 人參與。
活動開始首先播放 美國華人會 2024 年活動回顧，鼓勵大家為世界大會奉獻，出錢出力。美國華人會楊會長向大家 簡介11 月份世界大會的內容，行程及前進到世界性水平的願景。
紐約市議會第一區議員馬泰 前來致詞，他感謝華人會為社區的貢獻，3 年前還是很小的團體，現在已經拓展到更大的領域。他也表示願意在今年11月的世界大會期間，提供市議會導覽的服務。
紐約東華協會創辦人于金山主席、全球梅氏宗親會梅振才理事長、詩畫琴棋會岑灼槐董事長、北美台灣商會林慶甫會長也前來致詞。于金山主席和岑灼槐董事長祝賀大家金蛇年好運連連，並承諾為世界大會奉獻。林會長表示在美國推廣孝道非常難能可貴，對於華人會表示肯定。梅振才理事長甚至戰勝重感冒，親身𦲷臨，以行動來支持美國華人會，肯定華人會是一個很重要的團體，給年輕人指引正確的「孝情」之路。此外，黃氏宗親會黃華清主席和開平同鄉會鄧學源主席當場為世界大會奉獻支持。
楊會長一一介紹華人會主要幹部，並請所有顧問團成員發言，會場也提供麵包、米菓和橘子，一同歡慶2025 金蛇年，大吉大利，祝福滿滿。每個人也拿到一份日式精美的手巾做為新年禮物，一起決意為世界大會努力。
On February 2 (the fifth day of the Lunar New Year), the Chinese People’s Federation for World Peace – USA (CPFWP-USA) gathered its World Assembly Board Advisors to celebrate the 2025 Lunar New Year on the fifth floor of FaWang Temple in New York City’s Chinatown. Around 25 people attended, including key staff.
The event began with a video recap of CPFWP-USA’s 2024 activities, encouraging everyone to contribute their time, energy, and resources to make the upcoming World Assembly a success. President Yang then gave an overview of the November World Assembly’s purpose, agenda, and vision for reaching a global level.
New York City Council Member Christopher Marte (District 1) attended and gave remarks, expressing gratitude for CPFWP-USA’s contributions to the community. He noted that just three years ago, it was still a small organization, and now it has expanded into a much broader sphere. He also offered to arrange a City Council tour for delegates during the World Assembly in November.
Chairman Justin Yu, founder of the Chinatown East Neighborhood; President Gene Mei, president of the Global Mei Clan Association; Chairman SioWai Sang, chairman of the Chinese Cultural Art Association; and President Sam Lin, President of the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce of New York, also shared congratulatory remarks. Chairman Justin Yu and Chairman SioWai Sang wished everyone good fortune in the Year of the Golden Snake and pledged their support for the World Assembly. President Sam Lin expressed his deep appreciation for CPFWP-USA’s efforts to promote filial piety in the United States, which he described as invaluable. Despite suffering from a severe cold, President Gene Mei attended in person to show his support, emphasizing that CPFWP-USA plays an important role in guiding young people on the right path of filial devotion. Additionally, Chairman Steven Wong, chairman of Wong Family Benevolent Association, and Chairman Xue Yuan Deng, chairman of Hoi Pang Association N.Y pledged their support for the World Assembly on the spot.
President Yang introduced the organization’s key officers and invited all Board Advisors to share a few words. Attendees enjoyed bread, rice snacks, and oranges while celebrating the arrival of the Year of the Golden Snake, wishing each other great fortune and abundant blessings. Each guest also received a beautifully crafted Japanese hand towel as a New Year’s gift, symbolizing their shared commitment to work together for the success of the World Assembly.
